Let's get started in creating a character to play

Creating a character starts before you even enter the game. The things to do before you go in are outlined below. So grab paper and something to write with. Take notes on the below items and have that ready when you join the game.

Decide what you want to be

What kind of job do you want to have? Do you want to use a sword or staff? Start off by reviewing the different job classes.

Decide on who your parents are/were

You've heard it said that you can't pick your family? WRONG!!! You can choose to have Elven parents, human parents or even one of each. There are several choices available.

Decide your worldview

Nature vs. Nurture? Nah. Good vs. Evil? Yep. Add in Law vs. Chaos? Even better! You can choose from 9 different alignments in NWN.
